Vantage Automotive Brings Land Rover Distribution To A Close

Jaguar-Land Rover has indicated their desire to see both the Land Rover and Jaguar brands operating under one roof in Singapore.  Sime Darby Motors Division undertook a comprehensive analysis of this business model and concluded that it was not in line with our business strategies for Singapore at this moment in time.  It is therefore with regret that this long and fruitful relationship with the Land Rover brand in Singapore has to come to a close on 30 April 2010.

During our 27-year relationship, which has seen the brand change ownership four times, we have grown the brand from strength to strength despite numerous challenges.  Today, Land Rover is proud to be one of only a handful of brands in Singapore which has experienced growth in its volume and market share despite falling industry volumes.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal Land Rover owners for their undying support for the brand, and for the enthusiasm and passion they have shown in helping us grow this business over the years.
